Meet Our Staff

The staff at our AA Transmission & Auto Repair service and repair center are all highly trained and certified technicians with one common goal in mind - quality service at honest prices. Our transmission center is diligent in applying the ATRA Member Code of Ethics to all of our transmission repair and diagnostic services for the purpose of better assisting our customers with their repair needs and concerns. Our transmission technicians are always polite and courteous in their effort to provide you with the quality of service you want and deserve.

Owner/Transmission Builder/Mechanic

Dan Bedford started at AA Transmission in 1986. It was his first job after graduating from Wyoming Technical Institute. He then left for California for nearly 11 years, working as a transmission rebuilder and automotive mechanic. He returned to Billings in 1996 and worked for local transmission shops until starting his own business, Accel Transmissions in Huntley. In 2007 He purchased Performance Automatic Transmissions, and when it became available in 2008 he made the jump and also purchased AA Transmission, where he worked 22 years before. Dan is ASE certified and has a wide range of experience which includes foreign vehicles and "big boy toys".

Tanya is the office manager and provides customer services as well keeping the office running efficiently. She has four years experience in the automotive field, and 12 years experience in customer focused businesses.
